It's funny when you stop and think about life for a minute. How at the end of the day we are all here to accomplish the same things. Find a good honest person to love you for you, have a successful job, make enough money to pay your bills, have children if you choose and raise them to be good humans, and most recently for me have fun when you can. Let's be real life is short but it's also hard sometimes especially if you went down the wrong road and had to be re-directed. And for that I am speaking with experience. So why on earth do we want to make life harder for each other? One of my family members posted this post above this morning I urge you to read it. This blog post is dedicated to him and all the other beautiful gay people in my life. Thank you for being you.
It's the year 2019 people. If you are still worried about people's sexual preferences other than your own you have way too much time on your hands. If you are using quality life time to put together a straight pride parade I feel very sorry for you. If this is truly happening in Boston I feel sorry for the city and the negative press that will come with it. I have many gay men and women in my life and I consider myself lucky to know them. They are some of the most amazing humans I know. Honestly I don't even like to say the word "gay" who really cares if you are gay or straight? A family member is a family member, a friend is a friend, a co-worker is a co-worker it makes no difference to me what life partner you choose. Selfishly for me all the gay people I love in my life put me up on a pedestal and constantly compliment me, who doesn't love that? You want to have some fun go to a gay bar because that is where the party is at. In all seriousness this world really needs to get passed meaningless shit like this. There are much bigger causes we need to be fighting for.
Get out of your bubbles people.
